SEMiSLUG - January 2002
SEMiSLUG/Usen*x Meeting: 7:30PM, Thursday, 10 January 2002, at
Cisco Systems' Ann Arbor office. Directions are at the bottom.
The meeting agenda:
- Welcome and Abuse of New Members
- Administrivia
- The Question Session
- Gary Grewal: Ecora Network Management
Gary Grewal works for Technical Software Consulting Inc,
and is responsible for developing business opportunities
for TSC. To this effect, TSC aligned with a company from
Portsmouth, NH, to sell their product, Ecora, in the
Michigan region.
"It is to demo this product that I will be joining
you. ... I'd like to suggest that all who plan to
attend download and run a copy of the Ecora trial
from <http://www.ecora.com> www.ecora.com for the
platform of their choice. It is available for
Solaris, Cisco, NT/2000, Exchange.5/2000, Lotus,
Oracle. This will give everyone a good insight to
what we will be talking about. I know I always
love to play with new toys and see what it is
they can't do!!"
-- Gary G.
https://www.ecora.com/ecora/regarea/choice.asp?fid=1
is the pointer to the demo of their product. There's an
"Are you a member of a usergroup" question -- put SEMiSLUG
in there.

Ideally, we should arrive at ABC before 22:00, in order to have
the greatest number of menu options. ABC is located at 114
E. Washington Street, downtown Ann Arbor, half a block east of Main.
Please send topic suggestions and speaker recommendations to
The Moderators.

This is the intersection of Main and Huron in downtown Ann Arbor,
about half a block north of the old Cisco office. Use the side

idea.

from US-23 take Washtenaw, which turns into Huron; from I-94 east of
town take Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. which turns into Main St.; from I-94 west

A map is available at http://www.semislug.mi.org/directions/
for those unfamiliar with downtown Ann Arbor.
