SEMiSLUG/Usen*x Meeting: 7:30PM, Thursday, 13.
March 1997, at the Industrial Technology Institute. Directions are at
the bottom.
The meeting agenda:
- We'll open with the usual Welcome and Abuse of New
Members and the Question Session.
- Silicon Graphics (SGI) is bringing in a couple of
their new systems to show off. Yes, it's finally another SEMiSLUG Hot
Box meeting! These are the systems with the switched backplane that
lets all the subsystems to talk to each other at once, making it so a
fairly inexpensive box can really fly.
- After a break for pop and cookies, we'll have
the Answer Session, and degenerate into Rumors and Innuendo, finally
adjourining to the bar. Arbor Brewing Company is at 114 E. Washington
Street, downtown Ann Arbor, half a block East of Main.
